The compendium Zaupati čez mejo: vizija Darka Bratine med družbo in politiko (eng. Trust across borders: Darko Bratina’s vision of society and politics) was published as part of the project having the same name, promoted by the Kinoatelje Association and its partners. The project aims to share Bratina’s vision, promote discussion about topical social problems and spread the ideas that led Bratina to make significant contributions in several fields in the cross-border region between Slovenia and Italy. The publication also aims to divulge information about Bratina’s work and endeavours among younger generations.
The compendium comprises the contributions of speakers at a symposium held on 20 October 2017 in the town of Gorizia. The first chapter consists of introductory speeches. It is followed by four thematic chapters: Biography; Darko Bratina’s vision in contemporary politics; Darko Bratina’s legacy in social sciences; Memories and remarks.
