Language counseling project

The TJN is a short, clear and transparent document that defines the specific goals, actions and results expected from the Glasbena matica music school in the field of language planning. The SLORIjezik group, within the framework of a cooperation agreement with GM and on the basis of three meetings with management and staff, examined in detail the organization’s starting situation, main needs, critical points and good practices in the field of Slovene language use, knowledge and promotion. Based on the information gathered, the working group developed a language plan, which was used by GM management to set the basic standards of an effective and efficient language policy for the organization. The TJN defines specific areas of language planning, identifies the organization’s development needs, and establishes priority objectives, appropriate activities to achieve them, and expected impact.
In 2023, the TJN was further refined and updated at the request of the GM. During the meeting, the necessary steps for the implementation of the language plan by the SLORI language team experts were identified.
