Zarja Zver graduated in Translation at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana, where she is currently pursuing her studies in the two-subject master’s programme in Translation and Sociology of Culture. She is interested in literary translation from French into Slovene and vice versa, and especially in proofreading. She has already published several papers on proofreading and language consulting. In the past years, she worked as a student in the library of the Charles Nodier French Institute in Ljubljana and as a proofreader for Radio Študent, and since spring 2023 she has been actively cooperating with the Slovene Research Institute in Trieste. Her interest in languages is also linked to broader social issues, and she has recently begun to focus her research on the development of minority languages in areas of linguistic-cultural contact, particularly Slovene in Italy.
