Trieste, SLORI, EST, 1978
Owing to the large number of contributions the collection of the Proceedings of the Conference on Socioeconomic and Territorial Problems of the Slovenes in Italy, organized by the Slovene Research Institute of Trieste in 1977, has been divided into 2 parts: the first includes the papers dealing with the situation in the provinces of Trieste and Gorizia, whereas the second studies a quite different situation in the province of Udine. A special section contains the introductory paper by Vladimir Klemenčič and Karel Šiškovič that tackles the problems from a theoretical point of view and analizes their content thereby introducing a discussion on a social and economic development vital to national and ethnic minorities.
