Damjan Popič graduated in Translation Studies (2009) and obtained his PhD (2014) from the Department of Translation Studies at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ljubljana. He currently works as an assistant in the aforementioned department, where he teaches subjects related to the linguistic system of the Slovene language and the development of modern technologies, especially those regarding the use and analysis of the natural language. At SLORI he provides technical support in the field of linguistic research and development of language technologies for the creation of Slovene language texts.
