After graduating from high school, Luka Bezgovšek continued his studies at the University of Ljubljana, where he graduated in Multimedia Communications Engineering. He also graduated from the University of Maribor with a degree in Computer Security.
In the past, he worked as a programmer, designing and developing website functionality within his team. He is now continuing his career as a freelancer. He currently works mainly with the Slovene Research Institute, where he successfully develops original language resources and tailor-made tools for the Slovenian community in Italy.
At the beginning of his career, he worked mainly on the so-called ‘front-end’. A genuine interest in his chosen career path led him to explore other parts of the web ecosystem. More recently, he has focused primarily on ‘back-end’ systems, where he converts data into web formats and optimises systems for visualisation. In his spare time, he spends a lot of time improving his skills and learning different programming languages.
