Analysis of training and human resource needs of Slovenian community organizations in Italy

SPRETNO(RA)STI is a project of the Mladinski dom of Gorica and SLOV.I.K. based on the creation of training opportunities in order to recruit new qualified and motivated personnel in Slovenian associations and institutions, increase the number of active members of the Slovenian national community, and improve the knowledge of the Slovene language, including in the professional sphere. The project aims to contribute to the development of the knowledge and skills of individuals needed to improve the economic and cultural opportunities of the Slovene national community in Italy. The objectives of the project will be achieved through the establishment of an educational program with a total duration of three years and based on a multidisciplinary approach.

As part of the project, SLORI will undertake an analysis of the educational and human resource needs of Slovene organizations in Italy, first through a pilot census and then through focus groups with the leaders of the organizations involved. The data collected will help in the planning and implementation of other project activities. Identified training and staffing needs and needed professional skills will be further discussed in expert workshops, which will be used as a basis for strategic action planning in the field of training and staffing within Slovenian civil society.

SLORI will be responsible for the implementation of three main activities within the project: a. pilot analysis of the training and human resource needs of Slovene organizations in Italy (inventory, quantitative method); b. in-depth analysis of the training and human resource needs of Slovene organizations in Italy (focus group, qualitative method); c. expert seminars for planning strategic actions in the field of education and human resources.

In addition to the final report, a strategic document with recommendations for planning actions in the field of education and human resources will be prepared.
