The research project has been conceived in the frame of the community initiative programme Interreg IIIA Italy – Slovenia. The objective of the project was to evaluate the situation as far as the activities, the offer and the services referred to or interesting for young citizens in the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba are concerned.
The material was collected and presented within the publication “Associations, facilities, services for the youth in the municipalities of Gorizia, Nova Gorica and Šempeter-Vrtojba” – Associazioni, strutture, servizi per i giovani nei Comuni di Gorizia, Nova Gorica, Šempeter-Vrtojba / Združenja, strukture, storitve za mlade v ob?inah Gorica, Nova Gorica in Šempeter-Vrtojba (by Aldo Rupel). The publication provides information about the institutes and the activities for young people in the border or better cross-border area, consisting of more than fifty pages, full of data related to more than 250 organised activities and facilities: universities, schools, youth centres, associations and groups etc.
The collected data is a precious contribute to the awareness of the presence of young people in the interested area and of the commitment of the official and unofficial subjects, responsible for their growth, health and social inclusion. Information is available both in Slovene and in Italian.
