Throughout 2017, researcher and trainer Dr Matejka Grgič carried out a series of seminars and workshops on the Slovene language spoken in Italy. The topics covered include: language contact, industry terminology, language infrastructure, language ideology. Lectures and workshops were held, among others, at the following-institutions: Cividale Classical Studies high school (lecture title: Languages between myth and science); the University of Padua (participating in the round table Estperienze + holding a lecture on the Slovene language in the era of new technologies); the University of Udine (lecture title: The Slovene language in Italy: language contact, language policies and identity options); the University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Social Sciences (lecture title: Language contact and language planning beyond the Slovene-Italian border); University of Ljubljana, Faculty of Arts (lecture title: The Slovene language and ideology in Italy); Grado Rotary club: (lecture title: Bi+ multi+ pluri+ When there is more than just one language).
