The publication deals with the theme of the various approaches of linguistic education of bilingual children in nursery schools. The contribution of Suzana Pertot includes a description of the theoretical knowledge on the linguistic development of bilingual children, and presents the techniques and strategies to aid bilingual linguistic improvement in nursery schools. The teachers’ methods with regards to infant linguistic education emerge from the research carried out by Martina Pettirosso among the slovene-speaking nursery school teachers in the province of Trieste. In the final article, the Slovene expert in this field Jelka Morato Vatovec, reflects upon the new challenges facing infant linguistic education in Slovene-language nursery schools in Italy.
