This Working Paper of the SLORI collection offers three contributions on school and educational policy and didactics in Beneška Slovenija – Slavia Veneta. Particularly interesting is the part analysing the method by which local culture is taught and knowledge of the surrounding environment is promoted, devised by Pavel Petricig, as part of the activities of the Research Centre “Nediža”. The above-mentioned method provides a good example for an educational policy to be adopted in the region at primary and secondary level and for current activities within the private bilingual school in Špeter – S. Pietro al Natisone.
