In the publication the two authresses chose the main stresses and guidelines, which may help the teachers, parents and the wider public in the ethnically mixed environments on the Slovenian-Italian border to understand and explain the politics of coexistence, multilingualism and multiculturalism in their environment. Beside the explanation of the basic situation about the use of languages in the relevant environment, they focussed on the school systems and models of language usage in education and on the role of the parents in this process.
