The book by Ernest Petrič provides a thorough analysis of the legal status of the Slovenes in especially from the point of view of international law and the agreements promoted by the UN as regards the safeguard of human rights and national and linguistic minorities which has subsequently ratified as other countries over the world. Other specific international agreements are treated and among them the Osimo treaty ranks first.
