This manual (eng.Manual for cross-border students) has been designed as part of the Eduka2 project– For a cross-border governance of education. The project aims to address the problem of insufficient capacity for cross-border cooperation in the field of education. The drafting of the manual falls under the third set of project activities, namely under the subheading Support to students and graduates for the recognition of academic and professional qualifications, particularly in the fields of education and training. The manual incorporates the findings collected during various activities. These led to thorough research of the problems underlying the academic and professional qualifications recognition process and resulted in an increased awareness of future challenges. Subsequently, a training programme was also put in place, followed by targeted counselling services aimed at all the stakeholders involved.
The manual aims to provide users with clear answers and practical guidelines relating to the various stages of the academic and professional qualifications recognition process in the cross-border region between Slovenia and Italy. It is therefore aimed at new generations of students and at graduates who have completed their studies after the implementation of the Bologna process.
