Here the author enters the wide field of national and territorial issues tackling them from the standpoint of social and political town-planning. The book is divided in two parts and four chapters. The first two chapters give a review of modern aspects of town-planning in peripheral and ethnically mixed areas, in the third and the fourth a possible applicative model of the “new” non-conflicting approach to town-planning is illustrated, based on the example of Slovenes in the Region Friuli – Venezia Giulia.
