Norina Bogatec graduated in Social Psychology from the Faculty of Arts, University of Trieste. Since 1986, she has been cooperating with the Slovene Research Institute (SLORI), where she is responsible for statistical data processing. As a researcher she has published several papers relating to educational and employment processes, pluricultural and plurilingual environments, the role of intercultural education in education systems, as well as social and cultural integration in the border region between Italy and Slovenia. She has developed a unique interest for development dynamics taking place within the Slovene ethnic minority in Italy.
